We are very luck and have been chosen to participate in the Thundershirt Program.  We will be receiving gently used Thundershirts to us on our rescue babies.  They will be used for the dogs that have emotional adjustment problems and several other problems we see in rescue.  We have also been granted coupons for some that we can give to the new family to help them with the adjustments of the ones we used them for.  We feel this is a great honor to have been chosen to participate in this program, For more information on Thundershirts, please take the time to check out their site at:  http://www.petfinder.com/promotions/thundershirt

We will be offering certain dogs lowered adoption fees.  We would like to see them go to furever homes before the snow flies.  The dog will be adopted with spay/neuter contract if not already altered and you will have one month to have them altered per contract.

We adopted this little guy from skinny lil buddies a couple of months ago. He is almost tripled in size hes just at 6 months and already 80 pounds. We named him aragorn after the king in lord of the rings. We found out he's a boxer lab mix we hope his sisters got adopted. They were sweet but we only were able to take one puppy.

After discovering the great website of iGive.com we just had to sign up.  If you go to iGive.com and sign up for a free account. Then select us as your charity of choice. We get one penny for every web search you do thru there site. We also get donations from any store you buy from in the iGive.com network.  This means you get to shop and help out cause at the same time.

We are so proud to announce we are now  Officially a  Private Charitable Organization. This means for you that all your generous donations are now a tax deduction for you. We are just so happy to announce this after a good first year in business. Thank you for all your donations and we hope that you will continue to help us out in 2010. 

Because of rising veterinary costs we are going to be forced to raise adoption fees starting the first of the year.  We are not happy about this raise in prices but we have to cover vet costs for these babies.  It has also been brought to attention that our adoption fees are very much on the low side compared to most rescue.

We have decided that we were not be participating in any  year.  We feel with the hot weather it is to hard on the dogs and puppies to be on those hot streets and in the hot sun even if we have water and shade for them.  Our decision to not participate in the Williams County Fair this year came about as we did not feel we benefited from it.  So we will apply ourselves toward other ventures.  We are trying our best to do more adoption events at Petco in Holland, OH and perhaps Tractor Supply in Angola.  If there is a special event you would like us to participate in please feel free to contact us.
