Skinny Little Buddy's Animal Rescue, Mission Statement

It is the mission of Skinny Little Buddy's Animal Rescue, Inc. to save as many unwanted, homeless and helpless dogs and puppies in and around Williams County Ohio as humanly possible.  Also,  to provide food, shelter and medical attention to those dogs and puppies who are in need. We rescue dogs from kill shelters and receive dogs and puppies from owners who no longer want their pet for whatever reason. We are NOT  a kill shelter. We keep our dogs and puppies until we can find them a suitable forever home. We do not turn our backs on dogs and puppies in need.

We are a group of volunteers with big hearts and lots of love to give our dogs and puppies. Every cent that is donated to us and all adoption fees go directly to the dogs and puppies. We have NO paid employees. The unconditional love we get back from the dogs and puppies is enough for us. If you could, please help us with a small donation. Click here to donate Now!

  Cartoon Animal Rescue T-Shirts

LaCroix Tees now have dog rescue designs on there t-shirts. There are many dog designs to choose from. Go on over and take a look. There should be something there for everyone.

On top of the awsome T-shirts, LaCroix Tees will donate $5.00 to Skinny Little Buddy's Animal Rescue for every T-shirt sold through us.  This is very exciting to us and we hope you go and purchase a few Tees for yourself and your family.  We appreciate your support.

We adopted this little guy from skinny lil buddies a couple of months ago. He is almost tripled in size hes just at 6 months and already 80 pounds. We named him aragorn after the king in lord of the rings. We found out he's a boxer lab mix we hope his sisters got adopted. They were sweet but we only were able to take one puppy.

  New prices in the works!

We are currently raising prices on many of our adoption fees because we are now spaying or neutering many of our dogs before they go up for adoption.  If you would like more info on what is happening with our prices please email us or contact us on our contact page.  Our adoption fees are lower than some rescues.  We have a base price for puppies under 6 months of age.  Any over 6 months varies as to how much we have into that certain dog.  We are non-profit!

Ohio E. coli OutBreak (New Enemy of your Dog)

Because of a growing outbreak of E. coli in Ohio. Many of the dogs we have seen lately have been infected.  Take the time to read about the outbreak spreading thru Ohio.  We will be looking for ways to help build a dogs immune system to help combat E. coli and hopefully will do a updated story on how to help prevent your dog from getting it.  This can be deadly in dogs so please take the time to study up on it yourself if you are a dog owner. We have had a few puppy unfortunatly pass from this growing threat.

The growing number of E. coli cases reported in Ohio has now officially been deemed an outbreak by the Columbus Public Health department.  Also, the three cases from Franklin County have genetic links, confirming they generated from the same source.  And, in addition to the seven we reported yesterday, four new cases have been reported, raising the total number to 11 since early this month.  The seven cases—which were reported outside Franklin County—are pending processing by the state lab and have not been officially linked to the three in Franklin County, said Ohio Department of Health spokesman Kristopher Weiss. The three linked Franklin County cases were not linked to the 52-year-old Gahanna woman who died May 27.
